I've heard (read) of numerous examples of Cuckoo adults feeding young
(after somebody else has done the hard work of getting them to
fledgling stage). I'm sure I even read once of both the host parents
and adult cuckoos feeding the same juvenile!

I bird daily at Tyto Wetlands, Ingham, looking at behaviour and
seeking
photo chances. Two questions I'd put to the group right now: how did a
pair of Horsfields Cuckoos come to be feeding a juvenile
(presumably their
own)?; how came a Yellow Oriole to be feeding a Horsfields juvenile?
Cheers, Tony Ashton
