Hi Frank,

Forest Ravens are common at Harrington so you should be able to see them there. They are a little larger than Torresian Crows and, unlike the southern subspecies, these birds have long tails. The drawn out throaty/croaky call is also distinctive but be aware that Torresian Crows can also make unusual throaty calls at times.

I could put you onto Rufous Scrub-birds west of Grafton but not in the area that you will be visiting.
