Hi all,
had some great views this afternoon of Juvenile Cuckoos. There were various stages of maturation of young Fantailed Cuckoos, and a Juvenile Pallid Cuckoo being fed by its 'parent' - a very attentive Strong-billed Honeyeater. The parent was only about one quarter of the size of its incessantly begging foster-child! These young Cuckoos were just some of the numerous birds found in a local bushland reserve here in Ulverstone, on the beautiful North-west Coast of Tasmania.
