I've been regularly hearing an unfamiliar call while watching for Lewin's Rail at Mt St Joseph pond in Altona. It sounds a little like a Spotted Pardalote, but with 6 notes. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? If you'd like a better idea of what the call is like, I've edited a Spotted Pardalote recording to make it sound like this call. If anyone would like me to email them a copy please let me know. It's only 60KB.
