I've been asked to post a summary of the answers i was given to the list. Basically all the respondents said between 300-1500 ha with the average more like 1000-1500ha
depending on habitat, nesting site availability and prey abundance etc.
A helpful link given was:
http://www.threatenedspecies.environment.nsw.gov.au/tsprofile/ profile.aspx?id=10562
and link to draft recovery plan.

Hope that is helpful.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks to the many friends that helped me out with my question. Most
 appreciated!

Would you mind posting a summary to the list? I'm quite interested in
the answer and suspect other people will be too.

Best regards,

David Adams
