Hello everybody,

>From 6th March I will be one month in Down Under. I have tons of questions
>about special birding sites/species along the south coast of Australia. But
>I'm on holiday so just let's enjoy all the new birdspecies for me in
>Australia. I travel with my girlfriend (non-birder) so hope to get some
>birdingtime :)
During my stay in Australia I have only one major target species. The Southern
Cassowary in Queensland. I travel one week through Queensland. One day Cape
Tribulation, one day Daintree National Park en one morning Mission Beach.
Does anybody have valueable tips to see this magnificient bird?

Thanks in advance en hope to enjoy your wildlife soon.

Greetings,
Lennaert Steen from the Netherlands.
