Dear All,Another option is ground source heat pumps, where your back yard is used a a source/dump for heat via sub-soil coils connected up to a heat pump. This system is dearer to set up, but with forecast rises in energy costs and possible energy use penalties in the form of carbon taxes, may well be the cheapest option in the long run.
