Alan, I entirely agree with your first statement.
However, if I was a highly sensitive sort of person I might be inclined to think you were hinting at some sort of criticism of me in this matter. ;-) If that is the case, I would be totally devastated and might be inclined to subjecting myself to some form of self-harm such as watching the Twenty20 cricket match on TV this Friday night.

Your second statement is rather broad and open-ended. Would you be willing to elaborate? I would not be critical if you don't; airing such views on Birding-Aus can lead to some 'interesting' responses.
