G'day allI was birding with Rob Farnes yesterday and he picked up a small dead shark near the mouth of the Fitzroy River (sw Victoria). I took a couple of photos and have had a bit of a Google to see if I could identify it. The closest I can get in appearance is one of the Bamboo Sharks (family Hemiscylliidae) but these seem to be in tropical Australia only. If anyone would like a look at the photos (reasonable but not great) let me know and I'll send them. p.s. nine Wood Sandpipers at Yambuk was our birding highlight!
