With all this talk about Helmeted Guineafowl, what about the status of Red Jungle Fowl???? I saw a small flock with beautiful male somewhere on the Atherton Tableland Far North Queensland, end November, as we shot by in the bus. Have seen them in Nepal, Hawaii and the Ceylon version in Sri Lanka and find them unmistakable. Also know domestic chooks or bantams well. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
