Dear All,

The current flooding in QLD and the follow-on flooding which will  
occur in NW NSW, while causing hardship for some, might very well  
herald a rather spectacular winter-spring of birding in the regions.  
Such major flooding events usually bring on irruptions in many  
species and birding trips to the area could be very fruitful.
