Peter Madvig reports:

Yesterday in Sydney I helped farewell the grand marine biologist and
author, Isobel Bennett, who passed away on Saturday aged 98...!

You'd have to look far to find a more committed and compassionate person,
and her exploits on the Great Barrier Reef and Australian seashores are
legendary. Some of you must have met her over the years, or read her
publications.

A great innings for a wonderful lady.

With respect,
Peter Madvig
