Canada Geese

Hi all
I di not think it was the role of the NSW NPWS to cull species outside a
national park.
We reported breeding Indian Rose-ringed Parakeets to them and were
directed too the Pasture Protection Board who told us they did not have
the resources to do anything and if the species became a real threat it
would be too big for them to handle.
They are flat out just covering foxes and are hampered by having to do
it a humane fashion.
I would have been easier if John had not taken away our air rifles etc
and the do gooders thought of the native species being hard done by
rather than the pest species being controlled, like oiling eggs. Human
are generally the cause of the imbalance and it should be our
responsibility to try to correct it in favour of the native losers.
Cheers Chris
