Had to leave my PC for a while as I heard some squawking from outside. Went out to find two beautiful Grey Currawongs ( melanoptera) munching out on the old bread roll I'd put out for the Blackbirds in my backyard. I guess the recent century plus weather has forced them into the suburbs in search for food, although it is much cooler today. Also nice was to hear the Common Mynas chirping away at the SCG - just as they did at the MCG. No doubt revelling in our lousy start.
