Hi Graham,

Good suggestion.

I've spoken to staff at Mogo Zoo, 52 km to the south of Lake Burrill as the
geese fly. They don't have Canada Geese nor have they lost any. The person I
spoke to was going to follow it up with their bird staff to find out if A)
anybody else keeps Canada Geese in the area and B) if they know of any recent
escapees.

I'm interested in hearing any updates on sightings and behaviour (does
hand-feeding mean taking grain from a persons hand [in which case wild origin
can be ruled out] or does it mean grain spread by hand in a paddock/swamp edge
that the birds then eat?)

Cheers,
Rohan Clarke
