Magnifying glass found at Alison Hone Reserve, 10km north of Goulburn, NSW, on 
the Crookwell Road on 31/10/07.  Possibly used for reading a field guide or 
looking at plants or something.

The lens is plastic and it has a leather case. It says it's 3.5x and made by 
Eschenbach, West Germany, in tiny writing.
