My understanding is that the 'Green Sandpiper' at Hasties Swamp, Atherton Tablelands, N Qld, was seen on two occasions between 16th & 19th November and not since despite some searches. Apparently there is a photograph or photographs, not yet widely distributed, and a BARC submission is in preparation. Regarding 'rejection' of reports, BARC only rejects those that are obviously misidentified and these are few. Non-acceptance merely means that the case was not proven, not that the claim was false.
