Whilst at Mason Park Homebush on Saturday we spotted amongst the other
waders what we at first sight thought was a Marsh Sandpiper. Looking
through his scope Ted Blackman wasn't happy with the bill and head and
we were both struck by the remarkably bright yellow legs.

We are now wondering if this wasn't a Lesser Yellowlegs?
