Following up on an earlier thread about free GPS maps, there's another
set of contour maps for Garmin GPS units called Contours4Australia:

http://www.gpsaustralia.net/uploaded_maps/Contours%20Australia%201.21.exe

These have more detail than the ShonkyMaps contour maps (especially in
the ACT and Tasmania), but don't include road/track maps. However, you
can mix and match the C4A contour maps with ShonkyMaps (or other) road
maps. The trick is, you must select _all_ of the maps you want to use
before uploading them to the GPS; the selected maps will replace any
previously loaded maps on the GPS - even they are the same map sets.
