Although I am regular visitor to Gloucester Tops I had my best ever day there on Saturday.

I am generally lucky when I go there and regularly see Rufous Scrubbirds, and on Saturday I was delighted to see these as well as many of the other special birds of the area. These included:

Rufous Scrubbird 3

Olive Whistler 8 - eventually seen well.

Flame Robin 1

Rose Robin 10

Paradise Riflebird 1 - stunning views of a calling male.

Noisy Pitta 1

Green Catbird 5

Sooty Owl 2 heard

Owlet Nightjar 4

Cheers
Phil.
