Hi everyone,
Just had the pleasure of finding at least 25 or 30 Australian Pratincoles on
the Patho plains east of the Terrick Terrick National Park in northern
Victoria. They are in exactly the same place as a few which were found last
year, in mid-summer. There's a fair chance that these ones will hang around
for a while. They are to be found around the junction of Clees road and
Tomara road in the short native pasture on the east and west sides.
Also had great views of a Spotted Harrier nearby, many Banded
Lapwings....probably approaching 100 or more , Singing bushlarks, Brown
songlarks and a singing European Skylark.

Cheers,
Simon Starr.
Pyramid Hill,
Victoria.
