Hi,

sorry for the late posting; but i have only recently returned from a shortBornean birding trip and have taken a while to get organised.........

Last weekend, to my surprise, i recorded a Black honeyeater at a BaptistHoliday Camp in Mapleton, SE Qld. Mapleton is on a hill [c. 30km from thecoast] and the main vegetation would be wet schlerophyll - not exactlytypical Black HE country. It was seen in a bunch of flowering casuarinas.


Tried to find it again later in the day with no success.
