Hi all,

A Radjah Shelduck has just been seen Birdsland Reserve, Belgrave South, Vic.
The bird was first observed using the two 'ponds' which make up the Monbulk
Creek Retarding Basin on the 3rd, sighted again today (4th) at around 9am.
Enter reserve from McNichol Rd, via Burwood Highway, park at BBQ area and walk
west to ponds. Melways Ref Map 83 K2. There currently a photo on Birdline
Victoria at http://www.eremaea.com/ This species has only been seen in Victoria
a couple of times, such in Hamilton in the 1960s and more recently near
Yackandandah.

Also FYI BA-Vic's doing a survey of Grey-crowned and Chestnut-crowned Babbler
at Terrick Terrick National Park this weekend. Should be fun. Well also do a
Plains Wanderer survey. If anybody is interested in attending please let me
know asap.

Cheers,

Tim Dolby
