Hi all
Apologies if this has already been posted, but i haven't seen it.

My friend Sally has just forwarded me a copy of the NT Naturalists newsletter which includes a record of a dead male Rufous Owl being found in the Darwin Botanic Garden by Niven McCrie on 5/9/07. He recorded a live female on 4/9.

I have no further information on this or whether it bears any relation to the loss / destruction of their nest tree earlier this year.

Source is 'Nature Territory' October 2007 page 10

Jill
