Dear all

My next door neighbour picked up a dead fledgling Red-wattle Bird from their front nature strip last week - fallen out of the bottlebrush in which the birds were nesting following high winds I suspect. Breeding early to beat the Koels ?

We have had many more sightings of Red Wattlebirds in the Clarence Valley and surrounding areas (NSW north coast) this year compared to previous winters.
