Chris managed to point us to our first Powerful Owl ever - probably one of this same pair in Chatswood. The Barking Owl wasn't there then, but it seems Chris is a bit of an owl magnet!! Any others you can find there in Chatswood for people, Chris?

Many thanks to Chris Charles for originally discovering the Barking Owl in Chatswood. I was privileged to see this bird on Sunday evening and get some photos that i was pleased with. Andrew Patrick and I watched it preen and move out gradually from its roosting spot and eventually fly into the night. Magic. Thanks also to Edwin Vella and Peter Madvig for their posts and directions.
I have uploaded a few photos if anyone is interested -

We actually ran into Chris while we were there - he was photographing Powerful Owls less than 50 metres away!
Cheers
