I was checking my 1994 bird diary, which records my only visit to Kakadu and surroundings, and found I had scribbled the following:
    "And hast thou seen the Jabiru,
    The beak that stabs, the gawky walk?"
      "I have, papa, and must insist,
     That it is now the Black-necked Stork!"  (Apologies to Lewis Carroll)
Time to update, I fear.
