On the thread of attacking Magpie-larks, a friend told me about a pair 
in Darwin that lived/nested near a car hire office in town. Every 
afternoon the pair sat on the fence near the front door waiting for the 
boss to leave. They paid no attention to any other staff members or 
clients, but as soon as the boss came out they attacked. He claimed to 
never having done anything nasty to them, and took to leaving under 
cover or in the dark.
