New Clements book

Short answer. No.

I know that there are "now 9,930 sp recognized" compared to "over 9,700" in last edition.

It doesn't give a summary of recent changes this time.

It provides a web page for "updates" but going to it only offers the option of purchasing the book at the moment. See http:// www.birds.cornell.edu/clementschecklist

I think the updates promised by Clements in the last volume ended, not surprisingly, with his premature death. The fact that Cornell have now taken it over to me indicates they should keep it regularly updated.

It's fun reading though and the likelihood is you'll need it eventually!

Happy to answer questions for now though the link above should give you most of the information.

Cheers

Alan

Do you know what the major changes are? (If this is a sensible and

Hi all,

Thought it may be appropriate to advise that the new Clements arrived
today fresh from the US.

Now for many happy hours of updating!

Cheers

Alan
