Hi Duan
The only spot I have seen is McRitchie Reservoir reserve in the centre of
Singapore. A great spot for birding but on the weekend is busy (as with
everywhere in Singa's) with people doing Tai Chi, running etc. There is a
patch of forest that is great for Racquet-tailed Drongos. Also Orioles,
Sunbirds, Sea-eagles etc. Follow the path around to the Golf Course which
has some good birding also.
I am actually heading there next week and plan to visit (as the others have
said) Sungei Buloh Nature Park (up North - opens at 7.30am, 7.00 on weekends
according to the site www.sbwr.org.sg) , Bukit Timah Nature Reserve (in the
centre across from McRitchie) and Pulau Ubin (to the east). Possibly Fort
Canning Reserve if I have time. Oh and the Botanical Gardens.
I have 2 days on the way to Indonesia and 2 days on the way back. I'll let
you know how I go un less you have already headed off.
