American Hummingbird ID query

The bill of the hummingbird appears long and down curved (photos 10, 12 and 13) 
which as far as my guidebooks indicates Black-chinned.  Anna's has a short, 
straight bill in comparison.   In addition Anna's has a white stripe over the 
eye and partial red throat patch which isn't visible in photo 15.

Jeez, this is almost as tricky as trying to identify them while they are 
buzzing around your head at million miles an hour (not km/h, being as it is the 
US)!
