Hi all,

I've got 4 people signed up so far for the pelagic, but have some more
information that might interest people. Damian mentioned on the phone the
other day that he thought he saw a Tahiti Petrel off Southport (Tasmania)
last week. Now I'm not an expert, but it seems to me like this could be an
Atlantic Petrel, as it seems unlikely to get a warm-water petrel so far
south at this time of year. It's a great opportunity to go check out the
sighting anyway. Damian described the bird very well and had excellent
views in the water and flying right next to the boat, so will no doubt be
able to take us back to the same spot.

Contact me off-list if you're interested in coming.

Regards,
Chris
