I have just heard that we won this case - no permit will be issued! The council
is now considering a bylaw concerning any light aircraft. Thanks everyone for
your helpful suggestions and information.

I hope this is a good omen for the Capertee case.

This case has now been heard by VCAT and we should have a decision
within 2 weeks.

Our arguments based on anything to do with the wetlands were heard but
will be considered to be adequately dealt with by making sure the flight
path is far enough from the swamp.
