Photoshop is a wonderful thing...

Putting aside the disbelief that a raptor would actually allow the Blackbird
to ride on it, there are a few things about the pictures that don't ring
true.

Picture 1 (rtail_rwbb.jpg) - The aerodynamics just don't appear correct. The
Blackbird is leaning out of the bank of the Hawk's turn - in a flat turn
that may happen, but in a banked turn the force is perpendicular with
respect to the bird (you experience this when flying in a turning aeroplane
- if you have a drink, the surface of the liquid stays level with respect to
the cup or glass). Also, the shadow of the Blackbird doesn't appear correct
either - there is too much shadow under its tail when compared to the
shadows on the feathers of the Hawk's tail or the feathers of the Hawk's
left wingtip.

Picture 2 (rtail_rwbb2.jpg) - Different depths of field. The right wing of
the leading Blackbird is out of focus but the right wingtip of the Hawk is
in focus even though it is futher away, implying that the image is a
composite of two photos taken with different camera aperture settings.

Picture 3 (rtail_rwbb3.jpg) - Sharpness. The sharpness of the Hawk is much
less that the sharpness of the Blackbird's head.

The photo, plus two others, can also be found below. The photos
do not appear to be fake, but a "ride" may be an overstatement?
