 I wondered about obviously.

Small birds in America are quite prone to chase hawks - more so than in this
country. Hummingbirds are known to chase Eagles and there have been case of
Eastern Kingbirds (they are about the same size as a RW Blackbirds and are
very aggressive - bit like noisy miners) have taken on Light Aircraft. RW
Blackbirds are 7 inches long and Red-tailed Hawks have a 48 inch wingspan
(they are large Buteos) so the size is about right.

So very good fake if it is one.
