Hi all,
I just took a look at the account in Mathews,1927,Systema Avium
Australasianarum,1,pp.65-67.
He actually split that Chalcophaps indica complex, and listed Chalcophaps
chrysoclora with subspecies chrysochlora chrysochlora,
c.longirostris,c.rogersi,c.timorensis,c.disjuncta and c.sandwichensis.
Of course if the birds centering on Australia are split from C.indica, the
name chrysochlora Wagler 1827 clearly has priority over Gould 1848.
