Dear All,

This thread raises the prospect for a new type of twitching. If you see a bird on a real-time web cam from another part of the world, such as the Pergrine cam in San Francisco, is it a genuine tick? Imagine a network of web cams in birding hot-spots throughout the world, e.g "U" trail at Khao Nor Chu Chi in Thailand, where, if you watched long enough you could probably see Gurney's Pitta. It would certainly be a lot more comfortable than being there in person. Hmm.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford
