For anyone not yet to read Birds Australia's The State of Australia's
Birds 2006 (Wingspan Supplement 16(4) -
http://www.birdsaustralia.com.au/wingspan/supplements.html), it
provides a nice overview of the issue of invasive species in relation
to our bird fauna.

A key point is the early detection and reporting of any non-indigenous
species. Terry should be commended on reporting these birds to the
Parks Service.

Cheers, Pete Kyne
