Hi all,

The next Capertee Valley tree planting weekend is coming up on 5-6 May 2007 and it would be great to get some more volunteers! This time we'll be planting on a property in the central part of the valley, and no experience is necessary. It's a good opportunity to see parts of the valley you might not normally visit, while contributing to a really great conservation project for the Regent Honeyeater and other declining woodland birds. Accommodation is available in various cottages throughout the valley or camping at Glen Davis. Anyone who can also come along on the Friday (4th) would be most welcome to help with laying out the plants.

For more information or to register, contact Tiffany Mason on tel. 6350 3115 or email: Please register as soon as possible to assist in the planning.

The Capertee Valley is approx 3 hours from Sydney in the NSW Central Tablelands.

cheers,

Carol
