Hi Birders,
I have read with interest all that people have had to say about the
Twitchathons but I do note that many of those commenting don't contribute in
any financial way to the appeal.
However under seperate cover I have given you a full report of the NSW 2006
Twitchathon including all prize winners, together with the list of the
amount of money raised by each team. The 2006 Twitchathon raised $16500 for
the Australian Bird Study Association's Reserach Fund. The interest from
which is used to give grants to University Students who are studying
Australian Birds. Those people who find Twitchathons "..a bit of a yawn
really..." can send their donation direct to the ABSA!
