2 weeks ago while carrying out maintenance at Freshwater Creek Wetlands, Chullora, I observed a pair of Peregrine Falcons catching dragonflys. It was just on dusk and during the 15 minutes I was watching, the female caught 8 and the male caught 3. They would fly about a metre above the wetlands and an open concrete channel running along side. Upon catching their prey they would fly up to nearby powerlines to feed.
