People should try Leanyer Ponds in Darwin, the place was crawling with
very brightly coloured Yellow Wags two weeks ago.

Hi Birders,

Allan Stuart asked whether Yellow Wagtails were seen on Ash Island this
season. I can advise him that Robert McDonald and co saw a Yellow
Wagtail on
Wagtail Way, Ash Island on 13/12/2006. That is the only report that I am

aware of but if he hears about more I would be pleased if he would let
me
know too
This is the least number of reports for many years.

Alan Morris
