I love http://www.bookfinder.com/ because it has excellent coverage,
including indirect coverage via Abebooks, Alibris, Books&Collectibles,
...  and shows you the combined cost of the book+shipping to Australia.

As to the original question I'd say saving up for HANZAB is the first
reference library priority (Andrew Isles has HANZAB discounts at present).
