Hi birders,

Not to sure what's been going on with my postings, but I think it's sorted out now. Sorry for any hassles...

A site I regularly visit is the 'Living Desert' in Broken Hill (6 km north of the city) and due to recent rains, Orange Chat numbers are high (first time I've recorded them here - 53 J 0542735, 6471511 - although other lists have them)

A flock of 30-40, with 8 males seen on 10/3 (3pm) and 4 on 11/3 (8am) in a similar sized group. Many females and juveniles, too.

Other birds seen include Rufous Fieldwren (x 1 on 10/3 - new bird for me at this site), Redthroat (at least 4 on 10/3), Southern Whiteface (x 4 on 10/3 - also new at this site for me) and White-winged Triller (2 males on 11/3).

Cheers,
Andrew.
