Hi

Thanks for posting this. Would anyone else from other
states care to post 'their' top 5 sites?

Thankyou in advance

Cheryl

Hi all

I've tried to send this message twice before, but it
doesn't seem to
have worked. Apologies if you're getting this for the
third time

Feeling bored today so I decided to compile a couple
of top 5 lists;
Top 5 birding areas in WA and top 5 birding sites near
Perth. The lists
I've come up with are shown below. I'd be interested
to hear what others
think of them and/or alternative lists (maybe for
other states and
cities). Also, with regards to the thread about how
people got into
birding; I've been birding since I was very young
(ever since I can remember,
in fact), but what really got me interested was
reading through a
picture book my parents gave me about Aussie birds and
then realising that I
could see some of these birds in real life near my
house. My parents
subsequently got me a copy of Slaters Field Guide and
I I found out that
there were loads more of these bird things out there
to find, something
I've been trying to do ever since.

Cheers,
            John Graff
