It's some months since the Red-backed Kingfisher has been seen in
Dayboro valley. Now it'll be interesting to see whether it comes back
next winter/Dry season.
The first WTNs passed through 15.10.06. And meanwhile, we've
had a few uncommon sightings in the area, as follows:

White-bellied Sea-Eagle (often seen here at this time of year)

Striped Honeyeater (6-10)
Dayboro valley (up towards King Scrub)

Glossy Black-Cockatoo (at least 2; male + female) (often seen here at
this time of year)
Mt Mee / Ocean View
Along with the Grey-crowned Babblers that live at Rush Creek (Between
Dayboro & Petrie), this makes for quite a dry picture, so close to
the city & the coast.
