Enjoy your jottings from Werribbee.

Robert's suggestion [Robson-Birds of Thailand ] is good.

His other guide-The Birds of South-East Asia is also excellent, covering more countries and in greater species detail]

These should be available from BA, BOCA or Andrew Isles.

I also use a number of other guides.

The Birds of Thailand-Lekagul and Round. Thai input. Great guide.

Last time I was in Thailand [2005] [lucky enough to be heading there again in March] this was out of print. If you can find a copy or two in OZ they could be quite valuable in Thailand. Well worth having with Robson.
