Curious, I don't recall coming across anything to suggest that there
was a lot of wader activity in the Vasse Wonnerup Estuary system ...

Bird watchers ponder if estuary system of world significance
Bird watchers in south-west Western Australia are trying to establish
whether the Vasse Wonnerup Estuary system could be classified as one of
the world's important bird areas.
The 20 square kilometre area is already recognised as a wetland of
international significance and local bird watchers believe it may also
qualify as being a bird conservation area.
The president of the Busselton Naturalists Club, Bernie Masters, says
four surveys will be undertaken this year to assess the types of
species in the estuary system and how many there are.
Mr Masters says the important bird area status would be great for
tourism.
"International bird tourism is actually quite a big part of the
international tourism market and we'd be one of only a few numbers of
places in Australia where people would be guaranteed to see good
numbers of birds of a certain number of varieties," he said.
