Andrew, There are plenty of 24hour wildlife surveillance sites around, why does the camera trap need a movement trigger instead of transmitting continuously to a nearby remote video recorder ? Surely a compact seven or more day power source (eg solar powered) and recorders with adequate disc space are available to achieve this? I've often thought that such a setup would be just the thing for Night-parrot searches at dam sites where they have been seen, eg in WA, interesting that you have put something like that into action.
