According to Menkhorst and Knight's /"Field Guide to Australian
Mammals"/, the Ghost Bat /Macroderma gigas/ 'eats large insects,
geckoes, frogs, *small birds*, mammals, including other bats.' 'Kills
made on ground or in flight, then taken to feeding perch, usually a
rocky overhang or small cave'.
